Samsung is Working on a Wearable Sensor to Prevent Stroke

Samsung Creativity Lab has been working for two years on a new sensor to monitor health. Earlier this sensor is called as «Early Detection Sensor and Algorithm Package» (EDSAP) and he oversees brain waves and gives the user information about tracking the likelihood of stroke.

EDSAP uses several sensors and a sophisticated algorithm that examines brain wave activity. The user can then use your smartphone or tablet to check the wave activity in the brain and to predict the risk of stroke. Of course, the helmet only warns and does not treat stroke, but in time you will be able to detect and seek medical advice before the case becomes serious.

Besides the fact that helmet mounted sensors warns about the threat of stroke, but also conducts other statistics and indicators of neurological health, including monitors sleep, stress and anxiety levels.

Currently EDSAP so far only in prototype phase, so that as soon as it is exactly what you will not find anywhere else on the market. However, it is still an amazing concept, showing us an alternative model of technology development in the medical industry.
