Overwatch: Blizzard's New PC Shooter for Team Play

Overwatch is presented as a team based shooter where man with his own hero fighting in hot multiplayer battles with friends or other online gamers. The fighting takes place in teams of six, and each player gets to choose their own hero of the 12 characters that are currently featured. All heroes come with their own unique abilities and weapons, and have specific skills that make them better at offensive combat, defense, or support, for example. 

 

The game that according to Blizzard has some elements with respect to the defunct MMO title Titan, including some maps. Overwatch is a completely different kind of game with focus on very fast action and where the team-based approach feels vigilant prepared for more competitive matches and a focus on the ever more competitive E-sport.

Blizzard also reveals that Overwatch will pop up faster than most people think and that next year turns up a beta version of the game that is already able to write their names down for

Before the beta version is available, Blizzard showcasing the game at Blizzcon this weekend while offering a plethora of pictures and videos from the game on its official website.
