Second Generation of ASUS Zenfone Arrive At CES 2015

ASUS is one of those manufacturers that everyone would see many more possibilities that they show. At one time or another we have given the virtual title of "Android Apple" since gladly manufactures terminals and robust, something that stands out above the average of what we find in the Google ecosystem. Nevertheless, its distribution system leaves much to be desired and some models even have to wait months as the ASUS ZenFone who have come to Spain almost nine months after the operation we saw in Barcelona. Now, when the current generation still smells new in our country the second is on the way. Of course, it will follow the path of the current although we see presented in Las Vegas during CES 2015 in early January.

It seems that again ZenFone have three models: a four, a five and a six inch and have a heart forged in the fires of Intel ASUS although respnsables allowed to be looking for a new partner, or perhaps MediaTek Samsung its Exynos, to lower production costs. Yes, come directly to Android 5.0 Lollipop and will also have LTE connectivity, almost indispensable in the new releases for some months but not as common as it might seem.

We said that the distribution would be similar and the new ASUS ZenFone will debut in China with large local operators such as China Telecom and China Mobile. Apparently the international models will be different from those sold in China and there is no official list of countries to which they arrive although we assume that Europe will be among its main objectives. The problem is, as always, the time it takes to land. We know that in Latin America ASUS is a highly valued brand but its distribution is erratic, something that must improve if they want to reach the figure of 16 million units sold, a not short challenge for a line of smartphones that has now even a year old.
